Fiddlebox are George Whitfield on accordion and vocals and Helen Adam on fiddle and vocals.
Fiddlebox creates a full and distinctive sound which shows influences of the rock, classical and folk styles in which we work.
The programme for this concert includes arrangements of Welsh, Irish, Klesmer, and American tunes. It also features an original set of George's songs, and a varied selection of short pieces by Helen, all delivered in an informal and entertaining style.
As Fiddlebox we play throughout Wales at concerts and festivals, as well as parties and corporate events. As a bilingual band we have recently been celebrating St David in style, and we are off to Brittany in May to entertain on a tall ships festival. We are full time musicians and are both also involved in other varied creative projects outside of Fiddlebox.
